USA MODIFIED SERIES TO MEND FENCE
WITH WINCHESTER SPEEDWAY
Fortville IN

Officials from the USA Modified Series have issued a formal apology to Winchester Speedway in wake of problems at the season ending Modified event at the World Famous ½ Mile Speedway. “It was an unfortunate weekend for everyone involved,” commented series owner Steve Ellis “The event was intended to be co-sanctioned with another group, and in the wake of important miscommunications with the other sanctioning body the Speedway got caught in the middle of our problems, and was forced to deal with unpleasant and unnecessary issues during the event. We sincerely apologize to Winchester Speedway owner Charlie Shaw and his management team for the breakdown that weekend, and are committed to working towards building a positive relationship with the Speedway. This is the type of commitment we want to make to continue the quality relationships we build with our drivers, fans, sponsors and race tracks.”
