The USA Modified Series race at Angola Speedway, July 3rd was rained out and rescheduled for this Saturday July 8th. Heavy rain Sunday night and Monday with the threat of severe thunderstorms Monday caused General Manager Wes Parish to cancel the race and Fireworks. “We just don’t see it happening tonight so we felt it best to call it now….we will try again this Saturday and hope for better weather!” said Wes Parish.
Angola is a 3/8 mile high bank oval located in north east Indiana and has hosted USA Modified Series events for several years. “Some of our best races are at Angola. Their weekly Mods are some great competitors and the racing is always very competitive…..we look forward to a great race!” Said Keith Beeching, USA Director.
Gates open at 2pm Saturday with racing at 7pm.
