The USA Modified Series kicks off it’s version of the “Chase for a Championship” April 29th at Mansfield Speedway, Mansfield Ohio. Several new competitors will be on hand to do battle with USA regulars, Brent Hook, Damon Breedlove, Scotty Tomasik, Mike Hadley Jr. and ’05 champ Harold Scott this season.
This years schedule introduces three tracks Modifieds have not seen in recent years. The quarter mile Flat Rock, Michigan Speedway will host the Mods on May 13th, followed by the ultra fast half mile Toledo, Ohio Speedway on July 14th. Midvale, Ohio Speedway will be host to a special 100 lap short track event on June 10th.
In addition to the new tracks the touring series will make returns to traditional tracks of Anderson Speedway, Kalamazoo Speedway, Angola Speedway, Baer Field Speedway, Indianapolis Raceway Park, plus the season end 3rd Annual North / South Shootout at the Music City Motor Plex, Nashville TN.
The USA series will finish up the season at the half mile high banks of Historic Winchester Speedway where the USA and AMS Modified Series battle for the” Winchester Rifle” Trophy. For more information on the USA Modified Series and it’s schedule go to www.usamodifieds.com.
