The 2005 USA Modified Series Champions banquet will be held again
this year at Hoosier Park on January 7th, 2006. At this years
event 2005 USA Champion Harold Scott will be honored, along with
the top fifth teen in USA points.
Hoosier Park opened in the fall of 1994 and was the first
pari-mutuel horse track in Indiana. It is a beautiful facility,
located just off of Scattrefield Road on Anderson’s south side.
With terraced tabled seating, it is a great place to enjoy a good
meal and fellowship with racers, officials, and fans, while
honoring those individuals that made the ’05 USA season special.
Matt Prier, the “Voice of the ASALMS” will be master of
ceremonies, giving USA’s Keith Beeching a much needed break from
the podium. “We are extremely excited that Matt could work this
into his schedule.” Said Keith, “He is a great spokesman for
motorsports, very entertaining, and besides that…. I don’t want to
do it!” explained the microphone shy USA Official.
Along with USA Champion Harold Scott, Lincoln Welders Rookie of
the Year will be named. Sportsmanship and Dedication Awards will
be handed out, along with numerous door prizes. The latest
developments in the 2006 USA Modified Series schedule and new
exciting plans for the future will be announced. Tickets are on
sale now by going to
www.usamodifieds.com and down loading the
banquet form.
Price is $20.00 per person and the dress as always casual. Limited
seating available so don’t delay.
